Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Engineer Trainee – Automation to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals interested in industrial automation, software development, and commissioning. The candidate will be involved in end-to-end project support including development, testing, and on-site implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in PLC/SCADA/DCS software development using platforms such as PCS7, TIA Portal, DeltaV, Honeywell, and Rockwell
- Support database application development for automation systems
- Participate in software testing and qualification activities
- Execute and document qualification phases as per Test & Documentation Matrix (TDM)
- Assist in hardware configuration and system setup
- Support commissioning activities at customer sites (India/abroad)
- Perform technical clarifications during project execution
- Participate in project meetings as per defined matrix
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks with required quality standards
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and industrial automation systems
- Familiarity with tools like Siemens PCS7 / TIA Portal / DeltaV / Honeywell / Rockwell (preferred)
- Understanding of software testing and validation concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to travel for site work
