Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for electrical system design, panel drawings, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for biopharma equipment.
- Create system models and simulations as required.
- Prepare Electrical Bill of Materials (BOM) and I/O Lists.
- Develop Panel Fabrication Drawings using AutoCAD.
- Prepare GA drawings for Controller Panels, RIO Panels, and Junction Boxes.
- Prepare panel wiring drawings using AutoCAD.
- Test new electrical systems and implement design modifications when necessary.
- Verify Panel GA drawings, wiring drawings, and electrical items as per actual panel build.
- Prepare As-built drawings after Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
- Assist in the manufacturing and assembly of electrical systems.
- Produce necessary design documentation and technical reports.
- Maintain and update departmental ISO documentation.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical components such as:
- Relays
- Eplan
- Auto CAD
- Push buttons
- Terminal blocks
- MCB
- Contactors
- Power supplies
- VFD (Variable Frequency Drive)
- Working knowledge of automation components such as:
- PLC
- HMI
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical and panel drawings.
