Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with experience in 3D planning and piping systems for pharmaceutical and food industry projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, detailing, and coordinating engineering solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform independent 3D planning and design of systems, including piping, steel structures, and cable protection systems.
- Design and develop sheet metal parts and special constructions, including preparation of detailed drawings.
- Create and design support structures for various systems.
- Develop line-up layouts considering space constraints and transportation feasibility.
- Generate production drawings, fabrication details, and isometric drawings.
- Ensure adherence to process specifications, SOPs, and project requirements.
- Comply with applicable industry standards, safety norms, and legal regulations.
- Coordinate regularly with project managers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams.
- Support the development and implementation of new standards, SOPs, and quality management documents.
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members within the department.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in 3D modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Plant 3D, or similar).
- Strong understanding of piping design, fabrication drawings, and isometrics.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical and food industry standards is preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
