Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our Engineering team. The selected candidate will support the design and development of electrical systems for industrial projects by performing engineering calculations, preparing technical documentation, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze project data and technical specifications for electrical system design.
  • Perform engineering calculations for electrical supply systems, including:
    • Electrical load balance calculations
    • Short-circuit current calculations
    • Selection of protective devices and cables
    • Grounding system design
    • Lightning protection system design
  • Develop 3D/BIM models of electrical systems, including cable trays, electrical cabinets, lighting fixtures, power outlets, equipotential bonding systems, and lightning protection systems.
  • Prepare engineering drawings, schematics, system descriptions, equipment specifications, and material lists.
  • Coordinate design solutions and 3D models with other engineering disciplines.
  • Issue and process technical tasks while ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure all engineering documentation complies with project requirements, applicable standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, equipment, and software to improve engineering solutions.

Desired Skills:

  • Basic understanding of electrical system design and engineering calculations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and pharmaceutical plant design is an added advantage.
  • Exposure to industrial electrical systems and 3D/BIM modeling concepts is desirable.
