Job Summary:
We are looking for a Junior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in bioprocess design and related supporting systems, such as media/buffer preparation, CIP-skids, and clean utilities. As a Junior Process Engineer, you will undergo training in Functional Specification (FS) creation, Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development, and vessel calculation. You will also support project activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of design documents for the customer. This position provides an excellent opportunity to grow and take ownership of individual work packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Functional Specifications (FS) Creation: Develop and update FS documents and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) as per project requirements.
- Document Harmonization: Ensure consistency and accuracy across technical documentation.
- Hygienic Design Principles: Learn and apply design principles that ensure cleanliness and sterility in bioprocess systems.
- P&ID Support: Assist in the creation and updating of P&IDs for bioprocess systems.
- Sizing and Dimensioning: Perform line sizing and dimensioning of equipment and components using our in-house calculation tools.
- Media and Safety Documentation: Support the preparation of media consumption lists, safety risk assessments, operating manuals, and related documentation.
- FS/Phase Tests: Participate in the execution of FS and phase-tests during Software Factory Acceptance Testing (SW-FAT).
- Compliance with Standards: Ensure all designs and processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology (or related field).
- Freshers welcome: No prior experience is required, but a strong academic background and eagerness to learn are essential.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of bioprocessing, engineering design principles, and process documentation.
